“TAKE A KID FISHIN” CHARTER PROGRAM.
KIDS FISH FREE BUT ARE CONSIDERED  AS AN ANGLER UNDER MAX ANGLERS PER TRIP.

All charter dates are booked on a first come first served basis.  Cash, S.C. personal checks, and credit/ debit cards are accepted as payment.  Upon booking, a deposit of 50% of trip fare is required to reserve your trip.  If credit card option is used, your card will be charged for the deposit at time of booking.  Charges are confirmed via email, fax, or postal delivery.  Upon pick-up, balances are due with all previous types of payment accepted and receipts are provided.

Only cancellations made 7 days prior to trip are refundable.  Cancellations within 7 days of trip with no rescheduling or no-shows forfeits the deposit.  Refunds will be awarded for bad weather or cancellations outside the 7-day policy.  Weather cancellations are at the discretion of the captain.  See my FAQ page.

The Captain is normally tipped 10-15% of the charter cost if clients have enjoyed themselves.

What to Bring

With booked charters Captain Chris provides all necessary gear and some extras to ensure a fun, safe, and enjoyable day on the water.

Should you decide to take home your catch, please bring a cooler for transporting your fish home with you.

Special Requests from Captain Chris

We ask that no bottles be brought on the boat.

Please wear shoes with non-marking soles such as shoes with white soles or boat shoes.

Please Call Captain Chris the night before your charter.  This provides an opportunity to confirm details of your trip along with pick-up locations and should you have any questions or special requests, Captain Chris can answer them.

Landings

PICK- UP LOCATIONS

Many locations are available for pick-up and can be arranged. Some locations do require additional charges to be paid to marinas at the time of pick-up   Capt. Chris will discuss options in detail when charters are booked and confirmed before pick-up.  Following are a few of the most common:  Bushy Park Landing, Remley's Point, Daniel Island Marina and the Maritime Center.  To obtain detailed directions, log onto the link provided and type the followin address for the locations desired:  WWW.MAPQUEST.COM

BUSHY PARK LANDING:  LOCATED ON BUSHY PARK RD. NEAR GOOSE CREEK, SC 29445.  TAKE I-26 TO EXIT #205 AND GO EAST ON US HWY 78 FOR 3.5 KILOMETERS FOLLOW SIGNS TO NAVAL WEAPONS STATION.  TAKE RIGHT ON RED BANK RD AND GO EAST 8.6 KILOMETERS.  TURN LEFT ONTO BUSHY PARK ROAD AND TRAVEL NORTH 1.0 KM.  BOAT LANDINGS WILL BE ON LEFT AND RIGHT SIDES OF THE STREET.

REMLEYS POINT MARINA:  ON THE COOPER RIVER, OFF OF COUNTY RD 56, JUST NORTH OF HWY 17 IN MOUNT PLEASANT.  TAKE I-526 TO THE  US #17 EXIT (SOUTH) IN MOUNT PLEASANT AND GO WEST ON US #17 (JOHNNIE DODDS BLVD.) 4.1 KILOMETERS.  TURN RIGHT ONTO MATHIS FERRY ROAD (#56) AND GO NORTH 0.7 KM.  TURN LEFT ONTO 5 TH AVENUE (#415) AND GO WEST 1.2 KM. TURN RIGHT ONTO 3RD  STREET (#415) AND GO NORTH 0.3 KM.  TURN LEFT ONTO 3RD  AVENUE (#415) AND GO WEST 0.3 KM.  TURN LEFT ONTO 2 ND STREET (ALSO CALLED RIVERSIDE BEACH ROAD) AND FOLLOW THIS ROAD TO THE BOAT LANDING.

CHARLESTON MARITIME CENTER:  10 WHARFSIDE STREET, CHARLESTON, SC 29401.  MAKE A RIGHT TURN FROM THE END OF CALHOUN ST. WHICH IS AT THE CHARLESTON AQUARIUM.  THE MARITIME CENTER IS THE TWO BUILDING ON THE LEFT.  COME DOWN TO THE DOCK FOR SCHEDULED PICK-UP.  ADDITONAL CHARGES APPLY FOR PICK-UP AT THE MARITIME CENTER.

DANIEL ISLAND MARINA:  669 MARINA DRIVE, CHARLESTON, SC 29492.  TAKE I-526 TO CLEMENTS FERRY RD. EXIT.  DANIEL ISLAND MARINA VILLAGE (MARINA DRIVE) WILL BE ON YOUR LEFT AFTER A QUARTER MILE.  MARINA FACILITES AND DOCK ARE LOCATED AT THE END OF MARINA DRIVE.
